Chief is the third studio album by American country music recording artist Eric Church. It was released on July 26, 2011, via EMI Nashville.[4] The album includes the singles "Homeboy", which peaked at number 13 on the Hot Country Songs charts, and "Drink in My Hand". On October 4, 2011 Chief was certified Gold by the RIAA having surpassed 500,000 records sold,[5] and as of the chart dated January 7, 2012, the album has sold 532,000 copies in the US.[6] The album received a nomination for Best Country Album at the 54th Grammy Awards.
